Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Transport team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a Transport Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in a mobile setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide vital care knowledge to help the team assess patients, stabilize conditions, implement interventions, and communicate effectively with physicians.
  • Participate in trauma team operations and become an energetic member of the Rapid Response Team whenever possible.
  • Contribute to the achievement of personal, departmental, and hospital targets by providing innovative ideas, suggestions, and solutions.
  • Participate in ongoing education, team meetings, interdisciplinary meetings, case reviews, and training sessions at department and hospital levels.
  • Participate in the process of developing and verifying patient care standards that apply to those being transported.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
