Estimated Salary: $25-$35 per hour

Key Responsibilities
As a substitute teacher, you will be responsible for representing Charles Wright Academy in a positive manner with all constituencies, communicating effectively with colleagues and administration, and maintaining a stimulating, healthy, and safe classroom environment. You will also be responsible for practicing thoughtful and respectful classroom management techniques and imparting enthusiasm for learning to students.

Essential Elements
The successful candidate will have earned a bachelor's degree and have previous teaching experience. Although a Washington State teaching certificate is not required, applicants with a teaching certificate will be given preference. Essential elements for the position include the ability to inspire children, the capacity to work cooperatively with peers, and a joyful sense of humor.
