Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing, and promoting a culture of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including medication counseling, immunizations, and health education.
- Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications, maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans, promoting a culture of quality and compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, regulations, and best practices in pharmacy practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
