About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team as a Medical Rehabilitation Specialist. This key role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans for patients with various mobility impairments.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' motor and neurological capabilities using standardized procedures and tests
  • Develop and implement customized rehabilitation programs to improve patients' physical function and independence
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress, adhering to departmental policies and service line protocols
  • Provide educational support to patients and families, promoting self-management and empowerment

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or certification from an accredited program
  • A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in rehabilitation techniques and modalities, with a commitment to staying current with best practices and research
