Denver Health is seeking a highly skilled OB GYN General Physician to join our team. As a member of our department, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the academic mission of the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide direct patient care and attending supervision of residents and medical students on the inpatient and outpatient obstetrics and gynecology services. You will also have the opportunity to participate in education and research, and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, or examination results.
- Treat diseases of female organs.
- Care for and treat women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.
- Prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Perform cesarean sections or other surgical procedures as needed to preserve patients' health and deliver babies safely.
- Doctorate Degree Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Less than 1 year Directly related experience.
- MD-Physician - State Medical Board Required.
