Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ford Main Shop Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Vehicle Repairs
    • Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
    • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Communicate with Customers
    • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needed.
    • Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
  • Maintain Accurate Records
    • Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner.
    • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
  • Meet Manufacturer Specifications
    • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
  • Ensure a Safe Work Environment
    • Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
    • Follow prescribed safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous Experience
    • Previous experience as a service technician required.
  • Strong Automotive Background
    • Strong automotive background required.
  • Manufacture ASE Certifications
    • Manufacture ASE certifications preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License
    • Valid driver's license required.
