Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead process improvements, working independently to determine the best techniques, procedures, and theories to apply to analysis, design, or research of mechanical equipment and components related to the HVAC industry.
  • Apply statistical analysis and quality principles to drive results and plan cross-functional work with other departments.
  • Provide technical direction to designers and technicians on specific work assignments, guiding and mentoring less experienced engineers.
  • Skilled at analyzing product design requirements and recommending solutions, promoting Design for Manufacturability philosophy and simplifying complex specifications into logical design requirements.
  • Complete full sets of designs for features or products, preparing, checking, and coordinating the release of documentation to support AHU component design and application.
  • Use expertise to provide instruction and guidance to others, defining specifications for multiple features or products.
  • Prepare and participate in design reviews, communicating project and product information to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET accredited) or related science.
  • 5+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role with experience managing projects.
  • AutoCAD / Inventor experience is beneficial.
  • Must be commuting distance to York, PA, or open to relocation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HVAC industry experience.
