We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Wellstar Health System.
About the Role:The Critical Care Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our 18-bed cardiac intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualized patient care using evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking.
- Coordinate care through effective partnerships with interdisciplinary teams.
- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that adapts service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing (preferred).
