Job Summary

This LVN PRN position offers $25-$35/hour, plus shift differentials for night shifts. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will work directly under the supervision of the DON and in conjunction with the mental health care team.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Deliver quality nursing care to patients in treatment for substance use disorders">
  • Support the program philosophy of care and ensure patient safety and well-being">
  • Provide professional nursing care according to facility policy and procedure">
  • Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as necessary">
  • Teach patients about their conditions and provide education">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • ">
  • Licensure: Licensed to practice vocational/practical nursing from the State Board of Nursing">
  • Be at least 21 years old">
  • Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing">
  • Minimum one year of experience as a LPN/LVN/LPT in psychiatric nursing (six months in substance use disorders preferred)">
  • Prior experience in a mental healthcare/recovery setting is highly desired">
  • Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications">
  • Obtain and maintain approved CPR certification">
