The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team at the Springfield, MO CBOC. As a board-certified Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for providing top-quality medical care to our nation's veterans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough histories and physicals on admission
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans
  • Screen patients for endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians to provide comprehensive care in the Gastroenterology outpatient clinic
  • Perform endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of our veteran patients
