Electrical Engineer II Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer II to support our combat vehicle programs. As an Electrical Engineer II, you will evaluate design changes and modifications for diagnostics implications and recommend improvements where feasible.

This role involves close interaction with lead diagnostics engineers and design engineers, contributing to high-impact projects such as the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV), Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV), and the recovery vehicle (M88).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with a team of engineers and leadership to assess and improve designs to meet product requirements and customer needs.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing priorities and taskings.
  • Provide planning and execution support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to fielding.
  • Leverage physical, hands-on prototypes to provide rapid feedback to the design team.
  • Contribute to team direction and strategy with innovative ideas and technical expertise.
  • Take responsibility for continuous learning, focusing on domain skills and model-based, digital engineering enterprise capabilities.

Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with current computer applications (Microsoft Office) and technologies in applicable engineering disciplines.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with teammates to solve technical problems.

Required Experience:

  • Entry-level knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of engineering, including electrical circuit design.
  • Experience with basic technical design and development of electrical and mechanical systems.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Aerospace, or Software Engineering) or equivalent experience.
