Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of accurate records.
- Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications.
- Knowledge of pharmacy systems and software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
