Healthcare Custodian

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and flexible individual to join our team as a General Cleaner at Vonachen Group in Peoria, IL. As a General Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize various spaces, including offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, medical exam rooms, and public areas.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours.

Requirements:

• No prior janitorial experience is required; we provide on-the-job training.
• Successful candidates will have strong attention to detail, be flexible on occasion, and be able to work independently.
• Able to meet physical requirements, such as lifting, bending, and standing for the duration of the shift.
• Clean background check and drug screen.

Benefits:

• Starting pay rate of $12.00 per hour.
• Flexible 2nd shift schedule.
• Weekend availability is a plus.
