Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of accurate and unambiguous technical design specifications.
  • Design and develop code on an agile team of engineers, scrum master, and product owner.
  • Collaborate with team members to promote productivity and effectiveness.
  • Estimate the size of development tasks in story points.
  • Write, debug, and deploy code to production.
  • Develop knowledge and domain expertise.
  • Take ownership of what you and the team build and coordinate efforts across teams to ensure proper completion.
  • Adhere to DOD (story definition of done) as part of the sprint, including unit tests, functional testing, code reviews, no regressions, bug fixes, documentation, and adhere to best coding practices.

Typical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-5 years of software engineering experience required.
  • Experience with Intersystems Cache preferred.
  • Proficient in at least one modern, object-oriented programming language, with modern UI frameworks helpful; React preferred.
  • Experience with automated functional and/or unit testing preferred.
  • We work in an Agile environment, so any Agile experience or CI/CD concepts preferred.
  • Knowledge of relational database technologies, RESTful API, FHIR preferred.
