Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Preoperative Travel Nurse to join our team in Midland, Texas.

As a Preoperative Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for admitting, preparing, and discharging patients in the Heart Institute. You will complete a comprehensive assessment, including the initial and ongoing collection, analysis, and interpretation of data. You will synthesize the data to identify problems, make nursing diagnoses, and formulate goals, teaching plans, and outcomes. You will implement the plan of care, beginning, delivering, assigning, or delegating certain interventions within the plan of care for patients within legal, ethical, and regulatory parameters. You will evaluate and report patient outcomes and responses to therapeutic interventions in comparison to benchmarks from evidence-based practice and research findings. You will plan any follow-up care and referrals to appropriate resources that may be needed.
