Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at United Musculoskeletal Partners. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and treatment plans in accordance with the instructions and consent of referring physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform PT evaluations and create treatment plans in accordance with instructions and consent of referring physicians.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians to ensure compliance with treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
  • Provide excellent customer service and engage in clear, comprehensive, and frequent communication with patients.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, conditioning, and rehabilitation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree from an accredited university physical therapy program.
  • Georgia State License granted by the Georgia Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Specialty certifications are welcome, with orthopedics preferred.
  • Two years of experience treating patients in an orthopedic setting is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
  • Extensive knowledge of physical therapy care and treatment of orthopaedic injuries and illnesses.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in all written and verbal communications.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated conflict management skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with patients and their families or caregivers.
