Job Title: Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Expert

Job Summary: GFL Environmental is seeking a Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Expert to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and continuous operation of our fleet of diesel and compressed natural gas vehicles.

Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on both diesel and CNG vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
  • Perform standard electronic diagnostics and repair electrical equipment and hydraulic systems
  • Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions and ensure they are working properly

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel/CNG maintenance
  • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
  • ASE certifications preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions
