Job Summary:
The Grove Evanston is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on an overnight shift. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality nursing care to residents in a manner that promotes their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Attend to individual needs of residents, including incontinent care, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, and other needs.
- Perform various tasks assigned by the floor nurse, including checking vital signs, weighing residents, applying creams/ointments, and collecting specimens.
- Be knowledgeable of individual care plans and support the care planning process by providing supervisors with specific information and observations of residents' needs, preferences, and report any behavioral changes.
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Illinois.
- Ability to work every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, with the opportunity to pick up more shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
