Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist & Wake Forest University School of Medicine, a renowned institution in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a highly skilled Abdominal Imaging specialist to join its esteemed Department of Radiology.
The Department of Radiology boasts state-of-the-art imaging facilities across three adult hospitals, a NCI designated Cancer Center, a pediatric hospital, a busy free-standing imaging center, and several smaller outpatient facilities. With a team of 50 faculty members, 14 fellows, and 40 residents, the department is well-known for its strong educational programs and ACGME-approved Abdominal Imaging Fellowship.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the department's clinical operations in all facets of abdominal imaging, including computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, fluoroscopy, conventional radiographs, and percutaneous biopsy.
- Participate in the department's academic mission, engaging in multidisciplinary research and educating residents, medical students, and interns.
- Be eligible for research startup funds and enjoy protected time to pursue academic interests.
- Board Certification by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent.
- Additional training in Abdominal Imaging.
- Licensure to practice medicine in the state of North Carolina.
