  • Design and implement interventions, educational resources, and treatment protocols aimed at addressing students' motor skill challenges while adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Identify environmental barriers and recommend suitable assistive technologies to enhance accessibility for students with physical challenges.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of student progress, including activity logs, treatment plans, and billing records.
  • Engage in professional development through meetings, workshops, and seminars to share insights and collaborate with peers.
  • Prepare detailed written documentation such as treatment plans, reports, and correspondence to effectively communicate activities and progress.
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, focusing on skill development in alignment with established objectives.
  • Research and evaluate resources and methodologies to effectively address students' functional goals.
  • Screen students to assess the necessity for further individualized evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related discipline.
  • Current Occupational Therapist license in Arizona.
  • Prior experience as an Occupational Therapist, particularly in educational settings.
  • Strong understanding of motor skills assessment tools and intervention strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Proven capacity to work collaboratively with students, families, educators, and other professionals.
