Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced monitoring using current technology, including arterial lines, cardiac monitoring, invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring, and right heart cath with exercise monitoring equipment.
  • Critically evaluate accuracy of data collected and formulate nursing interventions based on data obtained from patient monitoring.
  • Manage complex medication and infusion therapies, including paralytics, vasoactive, vasodilators, thrombolytics, platelet inhibitors, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, Nipride, moderate sedation medications, heparin, fluid and electrolyte replacement, insulin, and blood products.
  • Care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit, including preparing patients emotionally and physically for procedures, monitoring and evaluating patient response, and providing follow-up care.
Requirements
  • Current MN RN License
  • BLS Required
  • Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of ICU/Cardiac Cath Lab Experience
