Position Overview
Westman Atelier is on the lookout for a dynamic Beauty Consultant who is passionate about clean, luxury beauty to join our team. Reporting directly to the Counter Manager, this role is pivotal in achieving sales objectives through exceptional product expertise, outstanding customer service, and effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate will embody the spirit of Westman Atelier, showcasing an entrepreneurial mindset, a commitment to excellence, and proven experience in customer and retail management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a luxurious, engaging product knowledge and customer experience that aligns with Westman Atelier's brand ethos.
- Meet and exceed retail sales targets as outlined by the Counter Manager; utilize link selling techniques to enhance Items Per Transaction and Average Basket Value.
- Showcase products on customers while adhering to hygiene standards.
- Participate actively in training sessions, whether virtual or in-person, as organized by the Sales and Education Team; apply learned skills on the job.
- Maintain punctuality and high standards of operation at the counter.
- Ensure the counter is visually appealing and consistently stocked and clean.
- Document and communicate any out-of-stock items to the manager; follow up to ensure timely restocking.
- Engage regularly and effectively with in-store staff, management, and the sales & education team; stay updated on all initiatives and events to foster collaboration.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales reports, store updates, and performance insights to the line manager.
- 1-2 years of experience in beauty or skincare sales; relevant degree or certification is a plus.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, preferably in a beauty or luxury environment.
- Ability to understand and respond to customer needs, providing an interactive experience in product selection and makeup application.
- Capability to adhere to brand and retailer image standards as set by Westman Atelier.
- Willingness to work flexible retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
