Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our Acuity Adaptable Unit. As a member of our team, you will provide top-notch nursing care to patients with varying levels of acuity, utilizing your broad clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to patients across a spectrum of medical conditions, from stable to critical.
  • Utilize your clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Work in a flexible and dynamic setting, adapting quickly to changes in patient acuity and care requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to manage their health.
Requirements
  • Experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to keep confidential information regarding patients and team members.
  • Able to withstand crisis situations.
  • Knowledge and experience with electronic health records.
Education and Credentials
  • RN - Registered Nurse.
  • BLS - Basic Life Saving certification.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 3 months of hire).
  • NIH - Stroke Certification.
