About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Career Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the JAG model in an assigned school, providing students with the skills and support they need to succeed in their careers and beyond.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in social service, counseling, business, education, or a related discipline, with experience working with youth and knowledge of adolescent development issues. A valid Indiana driver's license and minimum liability insurance limits of $100,000/$300,000 are also required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Program Implementation and Management: Oversee the implementation of the JAG model in an assigned school, ensuring that students meet their career goals and develop essential life skills.
  2. Student Advising and Counseling: Provide guidance, counseling, and support to students, referring them to additional resources as needed to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  3. Employer Engagement and Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with local employers, identifying job opportunities and developing partnerships to benefit both students and businesses.
  4. Data Management and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting, using electronic databases to track student progress and program effectiveness.
