We are seeking a skilled and reliable Transportation Specialist to join our team at Haysville Unified School District 261. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation to students and staff throughout the district.

Salary: $43,000 - $63,000 per year based on experience.

About the Job:

1. Provide clean, safe, and reliable transportation to students and staff, ensuring their safety and well-being during transit.
2. Maintain accurate records of student ridership, attendance, and any incidents that may occur during transportation.
3. Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other district staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
4. Implement and enforce all relevant state and federal regulations regarding student transportation, including health and safety protocols.
5. Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and community members to promote a safe and respectful environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and obtain necessary certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with district policies and procedures.
