Ryder is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our continuous improvement efforts across the business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving process improvements, implementing lean methodologies, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Process Improvement: Identify, lead, and drive change within the operation through data-driven continuous improvement methods, engineering, and automation efforts.
- Lean Implementation: Effectively leverage data analytics, engineering methodologies, and lean tools to enable root cause identification and elimination.
- Team Leadership: Supervise continuous improvement engineering and quality professionals, and participate in employment decisions (hire, coach) and manage performance.
- Communication: Provide regular reports of data and actions to measure progress against site objectives, and make inventory and/or supply chain strategy recommendations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain, and seven (7) years or more related work experience in the Warehousing, Transportation, or Manufacturing industry.
- Skills: Microsoft Office Suite skills with emphasis on Access, Excel, and PowerPoint; data visualization and database programming; proficiency in developing and managing lean methodologies, value stream mapping, and kaizen.
- Experience: Understanding and experience in core engineering and data analysis functions, warehouse design tools, and knowledge of warehouse management operations, data analytics, and industrial engineering.
