Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse PRN

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the use of the nursing process and adherence to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs.
- One year RN experience.
- BLS required.
- ACLS required.
- NRP required within 6 months.
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.
- Preferred C-EFM and STABLE.
- RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
The Obstetrics/Post-Partum department at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center has eight beds, labor, delivery, post-partum, Level I nursery, and one OR, seeing about 35 deliveries a month. On a rare occasion, we treat GYN patients. Our mission is to provide compassionate care to all as we would a family member. We work in a team-oriented environment in the highest altitude birth center in North America.

Pay and Shift InformationPay Range: $35.17 - $61.23 per hour. Shift: Variable, with a minimum of 5 shifts in a 6-week schedule.
