Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert nursing care as an RN in post-acute care facilities
  2. Keep track of care options and outcomes with other medical staff
  3. Work with residents and medical staff to develop care plans
  4. Properly set up and monitor medical equipment
  5. Ensure residents receive appropriate treatments and medications
  6. Draw bodily fluids for lab evaluation
  7. Review best care options with residents and family members
  8. Maintain compliance with facility policies and nursing standards
  9. Accurately document resident histories and interventions
  10. Provide training and supervision to nurses and support staff
  11. Assist with incident investigations

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Pennsylvania state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Diploma from an approved nursing program
  • At least 4 months of post-acute or in-patient hospital care experience
  • Excellent organizational and supervisory skills
