Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Yavapai Regional Medical Center West. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas within the hospital, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

This position requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to follow proper procedures for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, emergency rooms, operating rooms, and common areas using approved chemicals and equipment.
  • Restock supplies as needed, including soap, paper towels, bath tissue, facial tissue, and linens.
  • Dispose of medical waste properly, including biohazard materials and sharp objects.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
Requirements:
  • 6 months related experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, Dignity Health offers an Education Benefit program providing debt relief and student loan assistance.
