Vehicle Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technologist to join our team at J. O. Williams Motors. As a critical member of our team, you will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles with precision and attention to detail.
Main Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair all automotive systems with accuracy and efficiency
- Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Estimate labor and time requirements for automotive repairs to customers and colleagues
- Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments before delivery
- Maintain a safe and effective work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a vehicle technologist in a dealership or independent repair facility is required
- Ford certifications are highly valued but not mandatory; other relevant certifications will be considered
- A comprehensive set of hand and power tools is essential for this role
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment is crucial for success
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are necessary for this position
- Deadline and detail-oriented individuals thrive in this dynamic environment
Salary and Benefits:
- An attractive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered
