Job Title: Vehicle Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technologist to join our team at J. O. Williams Motors. As a critical member of our team, you will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles with precision and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair all automotive systems with accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Estimate labor and time requirements for automotive repairs to customers and colleagues
  • Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments before delivery
  • Maintain a safe and effective work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a vehicle technologist in a dealership or independent repair facility is required
  • Ford certifications are highly valued but not mandatory; other relevant certifications will be considered
  • A comprehensive set of hand and power tools is essential for this role
  • Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment is crucial for success
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are necessary for this position
  • Deadline and detail-oriented individuals thrive in this dynamic environment

Salary and Benefits:

  • An attractive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered
