POSITION OVERVIEW:
The primary objective of your role is to
evaluate residents' needs, formulate personalized care plans, administer nursing services, assess nursing interventions, and oversee nursing assistants and other staff in the provision of nursing care.
This oversight must comply with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, as directed by the Director of Nursing Services or their designee, to ensure the highest quality of care is consistently delivered.
Adhere to all health, sanitation, and infection control protocols while maintaining established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must hold a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN in the state of employment.
Must possess a valid CPR certification.
Must be proficient in English and capable of following both verbal and written instructions.
Must demonstrate the ability to execute both verbal and written directives.
Must exhibit strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff in the execution of duties.
Ability to observe proper safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the demands of the position/assignment.
Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
