About The Role:
· The Obstetric Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating patient care plans, delivering direct nursing interventions tailored to various age groups, and providing patient education through collaboration with ancillary staff and other healthcare team members. This role includes supervising LPNs, CNAs, and support staff. Under the guidance of the nurse manager or nursing supervisor, the RN offers comprehensive, family-centered care in areas including antepartum, low and high-risk obstetrical patients, medical/surgical patients, well newborns, and select high-risk newborns.
Qualifications:
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Possession of a current Colorado or compact state RN license, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's, Associate's, or Diploma in Nursing.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required upon hire.
