MRI Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures utilizing MRI and imaging equipment at South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality MRI procedures and ensure quality control in the MRI area
  • Utilize RIS (scheduling exams, patient tracking, film tracking, proper completion of exams) and other equipment used in MR (e.g. monitoring equipment, stereotactic biopsy equipment)
  • Provide exceptional care to patients of all ages, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Collaborate with our team of over 70 Board-Certified Radiologists, some with sub-specialization in fields such as neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, body, cardiac, breast, and interventional radiology
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Radiology School
  • Previous experience in an out-patient MRI role is desirable
  • American Registration of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT (MR) certification OR Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) Certification from Texas Department of Health
