We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Manager to join our team at Leidos Holding. As a Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our systems' configuration management processes.

• Develop and maintain configuration management planning documentation and procedures.
• Track system changes and updates, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Manage hardware and software inventory, including tracking licenses and usage.
• Develop and track schedules for COTS/GOTS software release management.
• Provide reports on hardware and software usage as requested by the customer or program manager.
• Manage the change control process, evaluating proposed changes and coordinating with stakeholders to implement approved changes.
• Track and report the status of configuration items throughout their lifecycle.
• Manage maintenance contracts for hardware and software, ensuring timely renewals and notifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all configuration items.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures for configuration management processes.
• Develop and maintain an IP Address Management (IPAM) system.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with configuration management activities.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams and stakeholders.
• Provide training and education on configuration management processes and tools.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base on system changes and outages.
• Implement process improvement responses.

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Several years of experience in IT or a related field.
• Knowledge of version control concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices related to configuration management.
• Experience managing hardware and software configuration baselines.
• Familiarity with Risk and Issue Management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required OR active TS/SCI and willingness to get a Poly.

• Lean Sig Sigma Mythologies.
• ITIL.
• Experience managing a Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Git, Subversion, or CVS.
