About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Midwest Construction Inc.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary, ranging from $45,000 to $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Our Team: Assist with all phases of construction, including concrete and carpentry work, job site housekeeping, and equipment maintenance.
  • Operate Equipment: Use machinery, such as skid-steer loaders, backhoes, telehandlers, excavators, truss screeds, and laser screeds, to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and reporting hazards promptly.
Requirements:
  • Physical Fitness: Be capable of lifting at least 75 pounds and working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Education: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; continued education is valued.
  • Certifications: Possess a valid driver's license and a CDL is a plus but not required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in operating machinery is an asset.

    About the RoleThe ideal candidate for this role will have experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, as well as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills. A CFC certification is preferred but not required.You will be working closely with our service manager to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
