Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center ID. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans on patients, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate MRI equipment, including GE scanners, to produce high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of MRI procedures, protocols, and best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and advancements.

Requirements:

  • Current ARRT (MR) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, with a strong background in GE scanners.
  • Expertise in Neuro, MSK, Abdominal, MRA, Arthrograms, and other advanced MRI procedures.
  • Preferred experience with GE PACS and Meditech systems.

Work Schedule:

  • 7-day on, 7-day off schedule, with Wednesday through Tuesday shifts.
  • Staff every other weekend or every third weekend.
  • Average 2-3 nights of on-call duty per week.

Unit Specific Information:

  • Floating Area(s): May be asked to work in other areas of Imaging as Operations Support or Transport.
  • Dress Code: Black scrub top and bottom.
