Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel speech-language pathologist for a challenging opportunity in Honolulu, Hawaii.

About the Job

The successful candidate will work as an inpatient speech-language pathologist, helping patients with swallowing, speaking, understanding and other speech-related tasks they need to function. Working in a hospital or other inpatient facility, this role involves reviewing medical histories, developing and implementing speech therapy treatment plans, recommending equipment, monitoring patient progress and more. This individual will play a critical role in helping patients who are ill, injured or disabled regain independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to address patients' needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective care coordination
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on patient progress

This position requires at least 1 year of recent experience as a speech language pathologist in an inpatient setting. A degree in a relevant field and BLS Certification (AHA) are also necessary. Current state licensure is required.
