Job Summary

The Registered Nurse demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills, and understanding of the unique aspects of the population served in the care of his/her patients. Each service also requires specialized skills. The delivery of care is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patient.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team environment.
  • Rotate to areas other than his/her assigned service area/s and perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency.
  • Collaborate with PT/OT, APPs, trauma, spine, and ortho surgeons to provide comprehensive care.
  • Care for patients who fly from around the country to be treated at HCA HealthONE Swedish.
  • Participate in a tight-knit team with opportunities to grow and develop professionally.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current active multistate nursing licensure.
  • Current BLS Certification through AHA or ARC.
  • Graduate of a certified School of Nursing.
  • Able to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice.
