About the Position:
Symbria's Well-Being program is seeking a qualified Fitness and Wellness Program Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for older adults. As a key member of our wellness team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing customized fitness programs tailored to the individual needs of our residents.

Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Develop and teach group exercise classes and specialty programs based on current ACSM/AHA guidelines and Symbria's Operating Standards
- Work closely with residents to understand their physical abilities and develop personalized fitness plans
- Collaborate with the Symbria Rehab therapy team to coordinate transitions to and from therapy and Well-Being
- Conduct risk assessments and screenings to identify potential health concerns
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum personal trainer or group instructor certification required: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Health Fitness Instructor; American Council on Exercise (ACE), or National Association for Fitness Certification (NAFC)
- CPR and first aid certification
- Strong communication, presentation, time management, and organizational skills
- Proficient use of technology, including video conferencing; network, laptop, and tablet devices; and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
