Breast Pathologist

The University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced surgical pathologist to join our team in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with a focus on breast and gynecologic pathology.

We are looking for a board-certified or board-eligible anatomic pathologist with a strong background in breast and gynecologic pathology. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in a subspecialized sign-out model, with opportunities for research and teaching. Our department provides a wide range of services, including accessioning over 75,000 surgical/biopsy cases per year.

• Participate in a subspecialized sign-out model for breast and gynecologic cases
• Contribute to research and educational programs in breast and gynecologic pathology
• Collaborate with other pathologists and clinicians to provide high-quality patient care
• Develop and implement clinical initiatives and research projects

Candidates must have completed medical school and a breast/gynecologic fellowship program, and be board-certified or board-eligible in anatomic pathology. The successful candidate will join the faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, commensurate with experience.
