Job Summary

The Medical Psychiatric Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional results. The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identifying physical and emotional needs of patients.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring timely documentation and updates.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan.
  • At least 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
