Job Description

Job Title: Cloud Architect Principal

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect Principal to join our team at BlueSkyClarity. As a key member of our Platform team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and durable cloud-based services using AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based services using AWS
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain cloud architecture
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline software delivery lifecycle
  • Contribute to the development of cloud strategy and technology decisions
  • Analyze current technology environment to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions
  • Consult on infrastructure projects to ensure alignment with technical architecture and end-user needs
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • At least 7 years of prior experience in cloud architecture and development
  • Proven record of building scalable and durable services in AWS
  • Expert knowledge of migration strategies for legacy workloads to AWS
  • Experience developing services/libraries across multiple languages
  • Experience with Python, TypeScript, Go, or C#
  • Experience with IaC and k8s configuration management tools like Terraform, helm, and kustomize
  • Demonstrated expertise with Linux and Docker
  • Structured approach to troubleshooting
