Job Title: Full-Time Paramedic - Westchester County

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join our team in Westchester County. As a Paramedic with AMR Corp., you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and communities.

Job Summary:

The Paramedic will provide advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations, working collaboratively with our team of medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient situations and determine the best course of action, utilizing progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Provide advanced medical care, including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones, providing information and assurance about their care.
  • Act as a team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Paramedics.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • State Paramedic License
  • State Driver's License
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS NREMT-Paramedic
  • Driving record in compliance with company policy
  • Pass Physical Agility Test
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
