This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team at BGSF as a Porter/Groundskeeper. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment communities.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Porter/Groundskeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, including trash removal, changing light bulbs and locks, and repairing general punch items. You will also be required to lift 40-50 lbs and perform other physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Trash out recently vacated apartments
  • Change bulbs, locks, and install appliances
  • Repair general punch items, including exterior and interior painting and caulking, and light drywall repair
  • Lift 40-50 lbs and perform other physical tasks as needed
  • Perform painting, pressure washing, blow breezeways and parking lots
Requirements:
  • Construction, hotel/apartment or general maintenance experience preferred
  • Owns a set of basic hand tools
  • Have dependable transportation to and from work
  • Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability
  • Enjoy working with others and taking direction when needed
  • Maintain a friendly and customer service-oriented approach to co-workers and customers
