Container Handler

Job Summary

ConGlobal is seeking a skilled Container Handler to join our team at ITS Technologies & Logistics. As a Container Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of intermodal containers within our yard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stack and unstack intermodal containers and chassis in a safe and organized manner.
  • Unload and load intermodal containers from and onto chassis, adhering to established yard plans.
  • Collaborate with the gate team to handle drivers dropping off and picking up equipment.
  • Support the shop in repairing chassis and containers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid state driver's license required.
  • Previous experience operating a crane and/or heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Experience with forklifts, side loaders, and hostler operations is an asset.
