Job Summary

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Floorcovering Sales and Management Development Trainee. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in sales, customer service, and leadership, while working closely with our experienced team members to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Build and maintain knowledge of all products to ensure effective customer recommendations
  • Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers
  • Complete store administration
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including safety, loss prevention, and security
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards, including promotional packages and sales floor displays
  • Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action
  • Respond to and resolve any customer and/or employee complaints
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Have at least a bachelor's degree by the start of this development program
  • Be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have received at least a 'meets expectations' (3) rating on your most recent performance appraisal
  • If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position
Preferred Qualifications

A minimum salary of $60,000 per year is offered for this role. The actual compensation may fall within this range based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
