AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a skilled Neuro-Hospitalist to join our inpatient team in East Florida. As a dynamic and dedicated physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our team.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Management: Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of inpatient neurological patients, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
- Stroke Management: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on therapeutic principles, adhering to AHA Stroke Management Patient Care Guidelines.
- Education and Discharge Planning: Evaluate and provide education for patients and families, ensuring smooth transitions to outpatient care.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with physicians, management, staff, patients, and families to ensure coordinated and cohesive execution of quality patient care.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with members of the healthcare team to coordinate treatment plans, address patient concerns, and facilitate discharge planning.
Requirements
- Certification and Licensure: Board Certification/Eligibility through the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology, Active FL medical license, and DEA License.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with attending hospitalists and ED team.
