Event Service Bartender Role Overview

The Event Service Bartender plays a crucial role in managing the logistics of bar equipment and supplies during events. This position involves ensuring the bar area is well-maintained and organized throughout the duration of the event.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in loading and unloading bar-related equipment and supplies, including ice and other essentials, at various event locations.
  • Set up bar equipment in the designated area upon arrival at the venue.
  • Ensure the efficient distribution of bar supplies, including ice and beverages.
  • Manage the reloading of bar equipment after the event concludes, ensuring all items are accounted for.
  • Establish and uphold cleanliness standards at the bar station in accordance with company protocols.
  • Maintain sanitation standards and ensure the bar area is consistently cleaned and organized during the event.
  • Support the Event Supervisor in unloading supplies and managing leftover inventory effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to ensure event success.

Qualifications:

  • Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the job responsibilities.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to follow directions accurately and promptly.
  • Understanding of workplace safety protocols.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Strong communication abilities.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and lift items weighing up to 90 lbs, along with other physical activities.
  • Specific vision capabilities may be necessary for the role.

Work Environment Considerations:

  • Possible exposure to extreme temperatures, wet conditions, moderate to loud noise levels, and various chemicals.
  • Close proximity to moving or mechanical equipment.
