Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Samaritan Healthcare. As a physical therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients across the age continuum.

About the Role:

  • Assess and develop patient care plans to address physical disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or surgery.
  • Evaluate each patient's status and initiate changes to treatment programs as needed.
  • Administer therapeutic treatments using physical agents, biomechanical, and neurophysiological principles, and assistive devices to relieve pain and restore maximum functions.
  • Document all pertinent information in the electronic medical record and educate patients and others regarding treatment plans and procedures.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care services.
  • Completing charge sheets for service provided on a daily basis.
  • Maintaining professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations.
  • Ensuring no injuries to self or others by following safe work practices and policies.
  • Conducting self in a professional manner and ensuring personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job function.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from a school of physical therapy approved by the State of Washington Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
  • An active or eligible Washington state Physical Therapist license.
  • One year acute care experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level certification completed within 3 months of hire.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
