Reefer Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Transervice Logistics, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance services on refrigeration units, including Thermo King and Carrier equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all levels of maintenance services on refrigeration units
• Test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic test equipment
• Read complex schematics associated with refrigeration equipment
• Identify warrantable repairs and document orders
• Provide additional support regarding preventative maintenance and tractor trailer maintenance as required

Requirements:

• Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school or a minimum of 3 years of related experience
• Must have experience as a reefer or Thermo King/Carrier mechanic
• Specialized training and experience in the overhaul of refrigeration components required
• CDL license (Preferred)
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Basic math skills
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• Own set of tools
• The ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds
